Vocaloid Kaito

Kaito merupakan vocaloid Jepang pria pertama yang diciptakan oleh Crypton Future media. Suara penyedianya adalah seorang penyanyi Jepang Pria yaitu Fūga Naoto ,dan ilustratornya yaitu Takashi Kawasaki. Meiko merupakan paangan dari Kaito dan mereka dikembangkan bersama. Alasan pemberian nama "KAITO" karena mudah diucapkan oleh non-japanese dan juga terlihat cocok dengan nama vocaloid "MEIKO".

Karena gaya musik Fūga Naoto lebih mengarah ke jazz, vocal Kaito bersandar kepada gaya musik tertentu karena itu.  Namun, sebelum ini disebutkan Kaito sudah digunakan untuk banyak genre lainnya seperti R & B dan pop. Gaya musik Kaito yang dianggap terbaik adalah pop ballads. Juga, karena Fūga Naoto adalah seorang musisi profesional dan vokal aktor , hasil Kaito yang berkualitas tinggi. Vokal secara keseluruhan memiliki kualitas yang sedikit lebih tinggi daripada Meiko.

Meiko merupakan Software Vocaloid DTM (Desktop) yang diciptakan oleh Crypton Future Media. Ia adalah Vocaloid Jepang pertama dan juga vocaloid jepang perempuan pertama. Suaranya didasari oleh penyanyi wanita Jepang yaitu Haigō Meiko. Ilustrasi dilakukan oleh Shogo Washigu, yang sering dipanggil Wasshi dan pernah menjadi anggota Crypton. Kaito dan Meiko terbentuk dalam seri Vocaloid1. Kaito adalah mitra Meiko di seri ini. Vocaloid Miriam ini didasari oleh penyanyi Inggris terkenal, Miriam Stockley, lead singer dari band Adiemus. Sistem operasinya adalah Windows 32-bit operating systems (XP, Vista). Setelah ngepost mengenai vocaloid, kali ini mau membahas mengenai vocaloid pertama yang dibuat. Leon dan Lola dirilis bersama oleh Zero-G Limited. Dirilis pada tanggal 15 Januari 2004 / 3 Maret 2004 (Jepang). Leon dan Lola termasuk dalam kelompok Vocaloid1. Selain mereka sebagai vocaloid pertama, Leon dan Lola juga merupakan  Vocal synthesizers  pria dan wanita pertama yang dirilis. Namun demikian, Leon dan Lola gagal mempengaruhi pasar Amerika dikarenakan aksen mereka. 

Sistem operasinya adalah Windows 32-bit operating systems (XP, Vista) dan status pengembangannya adalah tidak didukung pada vocaloid 3 (tahap pensiun). Leon dan Lola dibuat dalam bahasa Inggris. Lisensinya yaitu Proprietary.

What is Vocaloid?

Lama ga ngepost, membuat gue rindu untuk ngepost lagi di blog ini. Kali ini yang akan dibahas adalah vocaloid. Sebenarnya gue udah tau vocaloid sejak beberapa tahun lalu. Tapi baru suka beberapa bulan ini :). Berbicara tentang vocaloid, sebenarnya vocaloid itu apaan sih? 

A : "Makanan jenis apa tuh?"

B : "Itu bukan makanan  bro ._."

Vocaloid itu berasal dari "vocal"dan "android". Menurut pengertian dari wikipedia yang gue baca, vocaloid merupakan perangkat lunak  produksi Yamaha Corporation yang menghasilkan suara nyanyian manusia. Komposisi musik dan lirik dimasukkan di layar penyunting sesuai nyanyian dan iringan musik yang diingini. Suara nyanyian diambil dari "pustaka suara" yang berisi sampling rekaman suara dari penyanyi sebenarnya. Sistem operasinya yaitu  Windows XP / Vista / 7 , Apple iOS (iVocaloid, khusus Jepang).  Lirik lagu dinyanyikan dalam bahasa Inggris atau bahasa Jepang. Namun di vocaloid3 sudah ditambahkan bahasa Spanyol, China, dan Korea.

Yamaha mengumumkan perkembangannya pada tahun 2003 dan pada tanggal 15 Januari 2004, Leon dan Lola, produk software aplikasi pertama, diluncurkan. Vocaloid is "vocal" and android".
